Growing Up

When I grow up, if I could do anything, I would be the President of the United States. Since I know that will never happen my second choice would be a small town mayor. I would like to be in these jobs because they have a lot of power.

As President of the United States I would work for climate changes. That is really big right now. We need to be more aware of what is happening. They are saying that the ice is melting pretty fast. There is going to be more water and the ocean would rise. A lot of houses would go under water and a lot of people would have to move.

If I were a mayor, and that path is a real possibility, that job would be a lot of work and I would have to put a lot of money into it to get elected. If I got elected I would change whatever needs to be changed first. Right now in Batesville I would like to change the police. They profile Hispanics and Blacks. I think I would try to get more Hispanic and black officers on the force.

I want to accomplish my goal of being successful at a career. I may never be a U. S. President or a mayor of a town, but I want to help people have a better life. I want to have a good life also.
