When I grow up, if I could do anything, I would be the President of the United States. Since I know that will never happen my second choice would be a small town mayor. I would like to be in these jobs because they have a lot of power. As President of the United States I would work for climate changes. That is really big right now. We need to be more aware of what is happening. They are saying that the ice is melting pretty fast. There is going to be more water and the ocean would rise. A lot of houses would go under water and a lot of people would have to move. If I were a mayor, and that path is a real possibility, that job would be a lot of work and I would have to put a lot of money into it to get elected. I do not  think something like The Salem Witch Trials would be able to happen now in our day. People nowadays do not really believe in witches. People now a days get a fair hearing with evidence or proof. Today, we got doctors, medical and psychology , who can immediately find what's wrong with a person. Blog # 2 Yes census are important because it helps keep count of how many people are in the United States of America. I mean it dose matter in a way if they wanted a whole count of everyone for a reason. Also, it could not matter because you can't keep a certain  count of how many people are here. According to the article, " Preparations for the count already are complicated by a sea change in the census itself: For the first time, it will be conducted largely online instead of by mail." I think the people who don't have a computer or internet access wouldn't have to worries because the government should open up a free place where they can go to take the census. I would rather take it by mail since its more private and wouldn't be hacked. Respect. Respect is one of the most important  words used. Everyone can have respect but to get that respect you have to have respect other people. To get more respect you respect other people and that builds up your respect. Respect is important because if you treat yourself with respect other people will respect you. For example, one way I show respect at home is by not talking back to my mother, Claudia .  Since I treat her with respect, she treats me with respect. Other people who deserve respect are teachers. I can talk to teachers respectfully. When I get upset, I talk back. So, I need to remember to show respect by controlling my anger. I chose the word respect for 2018 because respect is always needed. You got to respect no matter what if you want to be respected back. So, my goal in 2018 is to be respectful to people who respect me.
